More Pics

Here are 2 pictures of the beaches at Whangerei...We were so amazed when we walked out because the drive in is all on the bay side. You literally take a turn and there is the open ocean. This is located about 2.5 hours to the north of Auckland, one of our first stops....The next 2 pictures are from Mountain Biking in Rotorua. We had to climb to the top of this hill and bike down. It was a gravel road and we had to carry our bikes...We later learned there were shuttles to the top, but we are dumb. More coming from wellington....GO BEARS

Hey, Graham. It's your mother. Your blog site is amazing. Everything sounds wonderful except for your accident and theft. Are you okay? How is Shelly?

Have you found a place to stay yet?

Love you tons. Please write.

Morning, Graham.

Glad to hear you've met some good people. Tell your Welsh friend you have a bit of Welsh blood yourself, on your mom's side.

Saw the Ferrells last night at the annual end of summer rib fest at Hofmeister's. Naturally, they asked about you and were concerned when I told them about your stolen luggage and accident. We hugged, toasted you, and said we trusted the rest of your trip will be much better.

I sent you an e-mail too. Have a great trip south.

Hey, they just called from the airport...they found our luggage...we should have it in a few hours. All four pieces got stuck in Iceland.

Miss you, love you.

Grossman threw a TD, but earlier he had thrown a blooper of an interception out of the endzone. Lions dominated most of that endgame, and Bears got lucky in the last 2 minutes. It'll be a long season.

So, G, if internet is $4/hr in the cafe's what is DSL at a house gonna run you? Eric, Andrew and I want more blogspace updates. Glad to hear major electronix wasn't stolen. Keep the emails and blogs comin'.

love, Dad

Hi Graham,
How are things going? I, too, would like to see more pictures. So far, it looks really beautiful. Nothing new and exciting here. The spider over mom's garage is still alive and enormous!!! Mom wanted to knock him down but I saved him. Also, your room is almost done and looks very nice. I'm really bored being unemployed and all. I do have a meeting with Jim Hill on October 12th but it feels so far from now. At least I should know about the Bar by then. Ok, we all miss you!
Love- Katie
BTW, did you tennis rackets get stolen in the break-in?

Packers are shaping up! Nana's knee did not make 90 degree bend on schedule so she goes under anesthetic next Wednsday and they will force it. This action to be followed by a week of P.T. every day. We term P.T.= Programmed Torture. Temperature is down to thirties here.

Hey big lick... are you talking about the two bean bag boxes that are parked at my house? Come get 'em before they become firewood. Unfortunately, the squirrels already got to the bean bags and ate the corn seeds!

What's happening G? If my strep throat clears up by Sunday I will be at Da Bears game on Sunday night. If it does not clear up I will be forced to give the tickets to my brother-in-law. Needless to say, I do not want that to happen. Sorry to hear about your break in (I know how it feels!). Looks like you're living it up out there. Tell Jake I said hey. Later.
