some pics.
Heres a couple pictures I've taken recently. There are a couple on here from that private secluded beach, then some from yesterday. The beach we hit yesterday is only half hour from us, and there are mammoth waves there. Piha is also half an hour, and they hold international surf competitions there because of the size of the waves. Getting warmer, but still only in the 60s...

KATIE, YOUR BEAUTIFUL SISTER, PASSED THE BAR EXAM!!!!
LOVE, DAD
Hey Graham,
Sorry your house didn't work out. The photos on your blog are spectacular.
We were involved in a rennovation house walk today and one of the volunteer/realtors was Katie Issle's mom. We finally put two and two together just before she left. I guess she had been backpacking through Europe for a while. She's back in the area now, working.
Kate and I got sushi at Swordfish today to celebrate her passing the bar. We made mango and pear martinis too. Mmmm. Wish you were here.
Hope you catch the Bears game somewhere. Grossman is shredding the defense
Love,
Mom

G,
You know how often the Bears stink when placed in the national spotlight? Last night was completely different. They thoroughly dominated the Seahawks. Thomas Jones was quick and decisive when he hit the holes. Benson played a few series and didn't look too good except for one 20-yard run. It almost looks like the line doesn't want to block for him. But Grossman, he was amazing. He threw passed with finesse that just isn't seen in Chicago. The D was as dominant as ever. Hope you got to see highlights, if not the entire game. By the way, go to the Bears site, you can see a 2-minute highlight video of the game.
Later,
Steve
I got to see the game. Wow!!! A Chicago Bears quarterback doing that? The wait was worth it, this guy is for real. If they weren't up by so much, and there hadn't been a few drops, he would have probably thrown for about 400, and 4 tds! Anyways, he's still on pace to break every single season record, I believe its 29 tds (Kramer) and 3800 yards (kramer). And, he can move!!! Ah, wish I was there to feel the fever, not to mention, the Bulls start in like 3 weeks!! God, that is such a killer combo. Alright, keep leaving me messages. miss you guys

Graham - yes, the Bears on ON FIRE and making me extremely proud. They've got the Bills this weekend and are huge favorites. The local reporters point out that they are absolutely not getting cocky at all about their perfect record so far. That's my boys! Love you. Hope all is well. A Carla
Another Friggin Blowout in the making!
